With over 900 blog posts on my Swedish photography blog, it was time to offer a new and hopefully easier way of finding the right stuff.
I have now “launched” some kind of companion site (in Swedish) that only displays the portraits and links to the original posts for more info on lighting, setup, equipment used and maybe a diagram?
My question to you that are a reader of my much smaller blog in English, would that be something you might find useful?
And if it is, is browsing the portraits and having the right tags for lighting modifiers and type of assignment the easiest way of finding the portrait you want to read more about?
If you want a lot more content, you could always visit Strobox.
Let me know what you think and how it could be better, thanks.
I enjoy your posts about lighting. So if you have time to translate them into English then I would be happy and appreciate that.
I will try to do that more in the future. But I think you can understand a bit from the photos in the Swedish section as well.
Stefan, I’ve been a long time follower of your blog and love it! Any additional option to see more English blog posts and set ups would be much appreciated! Cheers from the UK, Scott
Scott, I will try to find more time for it. Maybe I can do shorter versions?
I’m a regular silent RSS reader of your blog.
Greetings from Italy 🙂
I always enjoy your description of lighting diagrams.
As long as there are graphical diagrams, even a Swedish (unknown to me) page could do well.
Perhaps you could just add the English description on your page where the search starts. I am not sure in fact of how the indexing works.
Also, thanks for Strobox – I did not know it!
Good idea with having a brief description in English on the search site. Will think about that.
A friend recommended me your website. I’m very glad he did, because I get a lot of inspirational tips and help from your content. Especially as a resource for great group shots.
So if there will be more content in english. Thumbs up!! 🙂
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
Best regards from Austria
