Sunrise in Collioure

July 26, 2013 · 1 comment

I am on my longest vacation/parental leave ever, and the blog is too. Just to post something I picked this sunrise from a small town in France, Collioure, where we spent three weeks earlier this summer just taking it slow.

To connect it in some way to photography I can add that this was my first trip travelling really light when it comes to equipment. Just a Fuji X100s (my first quick review is here) and a Speedlight. It was more than enough for most of my vacation photos, even if I sometimes longed for a change in focal width. Being forced to only use a 35 mm can be very good creatively, but having a longer lens would have been nice as well.

As I said in the last post, please let me know if there is anything specific you want me to write about when I start blogging again. Comment here or on my Facebook page, and don’t hesitate to e-mail me with questions.

I found your blog while searching for lighting diagrams and information on Profoto equipment online.
Love your work and look forward to seeing more when you get back from your holiday.

All the best,

Dennis Hoover
